chain na karaar hai, jabse dil mein pyar hai,
neend kaise aayegi? aakhon mein khumar hai…

khumar in that context means “intoxicated with love” (which I didn’t know until I just looked it up in my handy Oxford Hindi/English Dictionary ). The line means, “Ever since my heart has found love, I haven’t found any rest or peace. How could I sleep, my eyes are intoxicated with love…”
